About the studio
Step into KCHN.
Born from a shared passion for turning skin into canvas, The KCHN Tattoos brings four distinct artists together around one vision: tattoos as unique as the people who wear them. Our Scarborough studio is where artistry meets precision, and every piece tells a story. See their work in the studio portfolio, explore black and grey realism, fine line and lettering or blackwork, and book a free consult with the artist that fits your idea.

Do you have experienced artists?
Our team has more than 25 years of combined experience, led by Kevin Chen with 14 years in black and grey realism.
What is your tattoo safety protocol?
Every station is disinfected between clients, needles and cartridges are single use, barriers cover all touch points and artists wear fresh gloves throughout the session.

What are the requirements for tattoo licensing?
Requirements are set by the province and your local municipality. Studios must meet Ontario’s personal service setting standards and pass public health inspections, and artists typically complete bloodborne pathogen and infection control training.
How can I verify an artist’s licence?
Ask the studio to show its most recent public health inspection and any certifications. In Toronto, inspection results for personal service settings are published through Toronto Public Health’s BodySafe program.
